Yes a slit is still an incision into the recipient site. The issue is whether Gho is removing tissue to create recipient sites. That is a technique that is outdated. Taking little plugs of scalp out of the front, and replacing them with little plugs from the rear, is what clinics like Bosley and MHR do, when they use "Minigrafts". Minigrafts should really be called "Miniplugs".

Regarding NHI. In general I think they are good. There are only a few doctors who can do a good HT, and NHI is on that list.

Regarding donor scars "shrinking". They shrink very slightly, and they fill in. They actually heal "from bottom to top" if I am not mistaken. They do NOT "shrink and dissappear". SCARS DO NOT DISSAPPEAR. Removing your donor scar with the hope that the next scar will "shrink" is utter nonsense!

To correct a bad donor scar, you can do tissue-expansion surgery. Or you can have Dr. Woods place grafts in the scar to camoflage it. Those are the only options I have ever heard of working to improve bad donor scars.
