No need to bet. Anyone who's read any of the interviews with Gho could come to the conclusion that he doesn't even claim to have "the cure". What we here on this board believe Dr. Gho does have is still revolutionary as far as strip excision goes. Gho has said that HM will surely be improved upon in subsequent releases. We believe that Dr. Gho is attempting to separate HM from the archaic strip excision like wheat from chaff. And we know that he has been working on HM for around the same amount of time that our home boy, Dr. Walter Unger, has been spreading the word that he was pursuing an advanced cell therapy treatment for baldness. And if you people wish to speculate on what HM will not be without proof, then may I add that I think Dr. Gho's work perhaps is what's inspired companies like Bosley to hustle now with their own cell therapies. Bosley people didn't just decide to spend money on cell therapy research, then announce it publicly clear out of the blue. The 5 year statement by Ken Washenik is quite modest for a researcher who's studied dermatology and the hair follicle like few others have. Washenik and or Bosley likely have access to studies on mice and ten and 15 year old research showing proof of concept. How many small to medium sized corporations would spend money on fairly long term commitment research in a recession if the odds were unknown to them for success?. They give credence to HM by virtue of their actions. What do they know about Dutch HM that has opened their wallets wide and cause them to announce a plan for cell therapy?. And Dr. Gho mentioned in April that he was working on a protocol suitable for release in the USA!. If Dr. Gho is or will soon be in discussions with the FDA, then this would mean that he has or is close to an HM protocol he feels good enough about to share with peers and colleagues around the world. Sounds very good to me, and I think Bosley and all the rest are beginning to wonder for how much longer they can milk us poor suckers for strip excision. Any profitable company will want to be able to project revenues for all kinds of reasons, and HM will either make or break them when it becomes a reality.
I know you and Zemeno'll agree with me on most of this, but I just thought this thread was turninginto yet another Gho bashing as it usually does when it seems to us all that Moses is never coming down from the mountain.
