Yes, video tape and VCRs are still sold because people still use them. They didn't stop selling because there was still a market for them. Now that that market has dwindled to cost not being above benefit, they're stoppping. Just like right now people get HT because people still don't want to be bald. Add to that the fact that HM isn't available and some people won't wait.

And you PS3 example is rediculous. Gho is not making people buy an "inferior" product so they can be on a list to get the better one. There are people who will continue to get HT until HM comes out despite the fact HM is coming out. So he's saying he'll upgrade those still waiting for their HT procedure to HM when it comes out.
