Have you ever read a medical textbook? When a dermatological disorder causes such massive psychological damage, OF COURSE it is a disease!! Where did you get the idea that a disease is ONLY physical? Have you ever taken a health science class at university?

If you consider a disease to be only physical, then you're right. But it's also psycological. Hair has a deep, human and psychosocial function.
