I definitely do NOT recommend that anybody reads anything using only their left brain. Use your full brain potential as a cohesive unit. Modular thought processes are faulty thought processes. Right brain is said to be responsible for realization of the big picture. What good is left brain logic if it is cut-off from realizing the big picture?
Polititians bombard us with conformist ideas aimed at hard-wiring new neural networks in our left brains, while simultaneously punishing us for testing their ideas with right brain big picture models. That is fine for our (U.S.) fascist society that is based off the idea of superiority gained through conformity to the government ideal, but scientific debate should be held to a much higher standard.
Not to say that what alpine wrote is good or bad, just that variation is a beautiful thing, so don't be afraid to think originally and form your own conclusions.

* BTW, we all know that such generalist talk about the inner workings of the human brain is not really so black and white, but it does make for a good light-duty conversation piece.
