This theory is elegant and powerful. The more observations I try to relate to it, the more compelling it becomes.

It is likely that DHT's prominence in the skin has a functional reason. It's various effects appear to center around increased resiliency of the skin as a protective barrier organ.

It makes sense that the folicle would be passivelly pushed in or relaxed by the surrounding tissue, because it is hollow and not pressurized from within.

Your idea is that increased lymphatic action causes a concommitant blood pressure increase IN THE SKIN IN GENERAL. Now the areas of the skin that are poorly serviced by the lymph system experience tissue swelling because of RELATIVE lack of drainage.

Is it your contention that DHT is PRODUCED mainly locally NEAR the lymph vessels, and is this the reason you want to inhibit its production mainly in the face and neck?
