I look at it like this E.

If you wanted to introduce a substance into the body to increase lymphatic `pumping' and tissue `performance', you would have to introduce MOST of it into the periferal tissues, at the ends of the lymph vessels. This would tend to avoid potential back pressure effects that could arise from increased pumping in the core of the body. Of course, a back presure effect could be useful in the right area?

A back pressure effect in the prostate would increase the prostatic secretions that are important in breeding in a evolving, competitive breeding situation. If early human societies were anything like our closest primate relatives, high levels of DHT would be important, and would ensure that these characteristics get passed on.

If you look at the layout of the lymph vessels in the head, the suggestion is that the production of DHT in the skin of the face and neck `over feeds' the underlying lymph vessels here. The pumping effect of DHT should be greatest here according to the theory, and this should be the area of most hair growth. The beard area is the area of the most DHT induced hair growth! If there is going to be a back pressure effect of DHT here, the scalp is the area that would suffer according to the layout of the lymph system.

This is why i am experimenting with trying to reduce the production of DHT in the face and neck.
